Well... here we are, my first official post on my first official blog. I've had a lot on my mind lately. It's finals week, which means that it's the last week of my first semester at North Texas. Being a transfer student, I only have about a year and a half to go before I'm all done. Future plans include moving to New York (the city that holds my heart) after graduation and I'm pretty eager to get there. On the other hand, I'm a sentimentalist and am always finding time to soak up each slice of life. It's because of this attribute that leaves me lying here mourning my semester. Soon it will all be over. I'll leave this comfortable little city and be forced to turn into a real-life adult. To be honest, I've treated fall 2012 like an ugly step-child. School took a backseat to everything this past semester. Although I had a good time, I'm not 18 years old anymore and I need to make it count. So I am making a deal with myself. GOALS- 3.5 next semester. I go to every single class. I put away my phone during lecture. I take notes and I read the book. Ride my bike everyday it's possible. Ask more questions. All the while, maintaining social activities and travels. I know how to balance, but I just keep tipping the scales.
