FINALLY

                               

It's here, the most fantastic time of the year. No, not Christmas. No, not New Years, BUT...
The 70th annual Golden Globe nominees were announce today and the Academy will soon follow (Jan. 10th, to be exact). It's the time of the year when this guy ...
and I acquire the nominee list, and eagerly begin marking the films off one by one. By this time last year I remember being ahead of the game, so it made our defeat easier.  We're behind this season, but plan to make up for lost time over Christmas break, with two full weeks off (life of a student, life of a college employee). Thoughts, opinions, critiques will soon follow.

 Right now, I'm looking at Best Comedy or Musical. "Moonrise Kingdom" has been one of my favorites so far this year. It'd even be safe to say, it's been added to the favorites archive.

 

 

 

 InCREDIBLE.

 

Although, I foresee "Les Misérables" taking the win on this one, disappointment will not set in. I'm certain it will take my breath away. 

 

As far as Television goes, I am fully prepared to make predictions accordingly. However, be aware that I use the term 'predictions' loosely. I really mean, shows I hope will win.

Best TV-Drama: "Breaking Bad" (of course) Although, "Newsroom" would be a close second, in my humble opinion.

Best Actress TV- Drama: Connie Britton (yes, the hot mom from American Horror Story.) for "Nashville". So what? I like "Nashville".

Best Actor TV-Drama: Bryan Cranson, or Jeff Daniels. Both deserving.

TV Series -Comedy or Musical: Girls! Girls! Girls!

 

 

In my wildest dreams, Modern Family owns this category.

 

Best Actress TV- Comedy or Musical: Lena Dunham deserves it! Zooey Deschanel may be over played, but I still love her and would be satisfied with either. 

Best Actor TV-Comedy or Musical: Louis C.K.(would've loved to see Max Greenfield here)
